CAPTAIN

Captain Jack hails from the picturesque shores of Maryland, where his love affair with the sea began. As a young boy, he set sail with his father, igniting a lifelong passion for the water. His academic journey led him to the University of Maryland, followed by an honorable stint in the US Navy, where he immersed himself in the Navy's Nuclear Power Program, serving aboard submarines.

After his naval service, Jack charted a course in the corporate world, accumulating 14 years as a Nuclear Engineering consultant while simultaneously earning a Master's in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, he nurtured his seafaring spirit, amassing sea miles and undertaking deliveries and passages. But Jack harbored a dream - to become a true sea Captain.

In pursuit of this dream, Jack left the United States, embarking on a solo Atlantic crossing and countless other long-distance voyages. He commanded various vessels, from day sailers to dive boats, even gracing the decks of majestic Tall Ships. For the past 12 years, Jack has anchored his life in the Caribbean, where he has orchestrated private yacht charters, captaining term charter vessels with up to 10 delighted guests. His expertise extends to diving, as he proudly holds the title of a qualified Dive Master.

Jack's zest for life is infectious. When you embark on a journey with the SOL team, you're in for an exhilarating, luxurious vacation guided by a Captain who lives and breathes the sea.
