Accommodating up to eight guests, Ripple features four air-conditioned cabins, each furnished with a queen-sized bed. Every cabin boasts a private ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. The master cabin also provides a private entryway to the cockpit, allowing for easy access to the aft deck and star-gazing. Captain: Mark Russel

Captain Mark Russell is a seasoned adventurer who embodies a diverse background. Although he was born in Japan, he spent his formative years in England, raised by American parents. Mark's innate sense of exploration was evident from a young age, as he delved into the world of sailing. At the tender age of 13, he successfully completed his RYA day skipper course on a 32' sloop, navigating the picturesque coasts of France and England.

His fascination with maritime activities motivated him to pursue a degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology at the University of Plymouth. During his time there, he also completed his Yacht Master course, solidifying his knowledge and skills in the field. Mark eagerly took on the role of a dive guide and RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) pilot, working in the local area. However, his thirst for exploration urged him to seek more distant horizons.

Mark embarked on a remarkable journey as a professional dive guide and instructor, traveling to various locations across the globe. He accumulated countless dives, with one standout experience being a remarkable 4.5-hour dive to a depth of 260 feet using a rebreather, enabling him to explore a war wreck in Vanuatu. During this time, he began his career on his first luxury motor yacht, immersing himself in the world of opulent seafaring. Over the next 17 years, he earned prestigious licenses such as the MCA Master 3000 and Y4 engineer, solidifying his expertise in both navigation and engineering.

One noteworthy departure from the realm of luxury yachts was Mark's involvement with the race vessel 'Earthrace.' As part of a four-member crew, they accomplished the extraordinary feat of circumnavigating the globe in just 60 days, commanding a 78' motor yacht. To this day, their remarkable achievement still holds the World Record.

Mark's love for exploration extends to the breathtaking Virgin Islands, where he finds great joy in uncovering the region's vibrant culture, diverse wildlife, and enthralling natural wonders.

Chef/Mate: Nicole Davies

Nicole Davies spent her childhood surrounded by the breathtaking and secluded islands off Queensland, Australia. It was there that she developed her deep connection with the water, feeling most at home when she's on it.

From a young age, Nicole's passion for food and cooking blossomed. She was immersed in her family's seafood business, gaining valuable experience, and developed a strong garden-to-table philosophy centered around using seasonal produce to create wholesome and delightful meals.

With over 20 years of extensive travel, Nicole has honed her skills and knowledge in the culinary arts. She is a natural entertainer, and her greatest joy comes from crafting unforgettable culinary experiences for others. Having spent significant time in Asia and the Mediterranean, she has mastered the art of cooking Asian-inspired dishes and fresh Mediterranean-style meals, drawing inspiration from the local cuisines.

In 2018, Nicole embarked on her career as a Yacht Chef, starting in the mesmerizing waters of the British Virgin Islands. Over the course of more than 70 charters, she has delighted countless guests with her delicious creations.
