Kirk embarked on his sailing career as an Engineer with Sunsail in Antigua and the BVI. He holds a Yachtmaster Certification and has been a professional charter captain in the Caribbean for the past 12 years. His profound knowledge of the intricate islands of the Caribbean adds depth and nuance to your experience. Kirk's previous role was as the captain of the highly successful charter yacht Amazing, a testament to his excellent reputation among guests. Over 90% of his clients are either repeat guests or referrals, showcasing his exceptional service. Captain Kirk is particularly fond of families and welcomes them aboard Jan's FeLion to create unforgettable memories.

CHEF LOIC DOAN JAUSORO

Chef Loic Doan's upbringing in the Canary Islands, surrounded by the sea, shaped his deep connection to watersports, spearfishing, diving, and surfing. His father's background as a sailor further fueled his affinity for the ocean. As Loic traveled the world during his youth, his culinary sensibilities blossomed. Immersing himself in cultures like Indonesia, Vietnam, Norway, Thailand, Sweden, Austria, and France, he absorbed their influences and incorporated them into his versatile culinary abilities.

Loic's culinary passion was sparked by his grandmothers, as he spent countless hours in their kitchens and his aunt's restaurant, mesmerized by the magic they created. He pursued a degree in gastronomy and culinary arts from the leading culinary school in Spain, located in the heart of Spanish gastronomy, Basque Country. For four years, alongside colleagues from around the globe and under the guidance of internationally recognized chefs, Loic honed his skills. He began his career in small restaurants and villas, gradually advancing to esteemed establishments such as the Michelin-starred Nub Restaurant and the renowned Nordic restaurant with Japanese influence, Frantzén, boasting three Michelin Stars.

Combining his international experiences with a focus on Spanish and Italian cuisine, Loic's style epitomizes innovation and fusion. He enjoys daily challenges, blending the old with the new to craft unique recipes, paying homage to where his culinary journey began. Informed by fresh, local ingredients, his menu designs offer delightful presentations and a versatile culinary experience that will leave you satisfied. Her Interior Design Degree is evident in her ability to transform any space into a warm and inviting environment.

Following college, Kat relocated to the snow-capped mountains of Vail, CO, where she not only restored antique furniture but also reveled in the abundant outdoor opportunities. Hiking, camping, climbing, fishing, rafting, and snowboarding became her passions. She later dedicated her time to volunteering across the United States, working on organic farms and cultivating produce for local restaurants. Wherever Kat ventures, her southern charm and thirst for adventure accompany her, making friends wherever she goes.
