Meet Michael O'Donovan, the proud captain of Nirvana. He has been onboard since the yacht's launch in 2021. Born in Ireland in 1991, Michael is an architecture graduate from the Waterfold Institute of Technology. However, his passion for the yachting industry led him to pursue a career as a captain. With eight years of experience and an IYT-200 limited certificate, which is recognized as the international standard of excellence in yacht training, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He has also completed additional courses from RYA, including level-2 powerboat handling, as well as training in safety and food safety at sea. Having spent four years cruising the Ionian Sea, Michael is the perfect host to introduce guests to the hidden gems of the area. Alongside his sense of responsibility and diligence, he enjoys exercising, hiking, and participating in various sports such as golf and soccer.

Joseph Simpson

Joseph Simpson, born in 1987, is a talented engineer and passionate sailor. He has dedicated the better part of 20 years to working on boats, making him a valuable asset to the crew of Nirvana. Joseph's credentials include RYA powerboat level 2, an MCA engineering course, and the MCA Yachtmaster Offshore certification. In addition to his extensive yachting industry experience, he has worked in various positions, including hotels, villa remodeling, and boat restorations. Joseph has served in front-facing roles as a manager of Boats Ibiza, a captain of RIB trips in Ibiza, and a coordinator of watersports. He is also skilled in serving meals and mixing drinks. With his high-caliber engineering abilities, he has successfully managed a fleet of six catamaran boats. Joseph has commanded ships in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, particularly in the southern regions of France, Corsica, and Sardinia. He excels as a team player and approaches his work with enthusiasm. Besides his native English, Joseph also possesses a working knowledge of Spanish, French, and Italian.

With over 25,000 nautical miles of sailing experience and an unwavering passion for cooking, Kseniya is the perfect chef for the charter yacht Nirvana. Her attention to detail, positive personality, and enthusiastic approach make her an exceptional fit for the job. Kseniya is equally adept at working independently or as part of a team, and she possesses a natural talent for organizing everything to perfection. As an expert in Mediterranean and European cuisine, she holds an RYA/MCA Certificate of Competence Yachtmaster Coastal, along with other notable certifications. Kseniya has worked in various roles, including deckhand, stewardess, skipper, and chef, and she has sailed across the Mediterranean, Seychelles, Montenegro, Canary Islands, Caribbean Islands, and Corsica-Sardinia, even completing a daring Atlantic Ocean crossing. In addition to her professional qualifications, Kseniya is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. When she's not creating culinary delights in the galley, she enjoys cross-stitching and exploring the beauty of the sea.

Meet Casey-Jane Paehua, the newest addition to the crew of Nirvana. With her infectious smile, dedication to providing exceptional service, and expertise in housekeeping, food & beverage service, and guest relations, Casey-Jane is an
