After demonstrating remarkable entrepreneurial skills by starting his own business at the age of sixteen, he further honed his expertise while working for his family's enterprise. However, it was his numerous trips to Fort Lauderdale that solidified his calling to the maritime world. At the tender age of eighteen, Brendan embarked on a journey as a delivery mate, cruising from Florida to Boston, MA. His exceptional performance quickly propelled him to the esteemed position of captain even before the trip concluded. Over the past decade, Brendan has accumulated a wealth of wisdom and insights in the yachting realm, skillfully commanding vessels in five different countries, from the serene waters of Maine to the vibrant shores of Key West. Since 2017, Brendan has formed an indomitable team with his wife, embarking on a journey of shared growth and learning. Holding a Master 200/500-ton license, Brendan is eager to provide a safe and unforgettable charter experience for guests aboard the esteemed motor yacht Freedom.

Julie completed her bachelor's degree in Childhood Education at SUNY Cortland before venturing into the realms of teaching and gymnastics coaching. However, upon meeting Brendan, she felt the calling to join him in the yachting industry. Equipped with comprehensive STCW training and bartending expertise, Julie is an avid reader, hiker, and water sports enthusiast during her leisure time. She radiates warmth and possesses exceptional organizational skills, ensuring that guests aboard Freedom bask in an atmosphere that is both inviting and congenial. With Julie's friendly personality and meticulous attention to detail, guests are assured of an extraordinary experience that will last a lifetime.

Mate: Molly Gates

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chicago, Molly Gates possesses an insatiable passion for travel and connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Spending her summers on Lake Michigan, Molly immersed herself in swimming, tubing, waterskiing, and more. Joining the high school sailing team marked the beginning of an enduring love affair with boats, leading her to spend seven years fully immersed in the world of sailing. While pursuing her studies at the University of Dayton, Molly divided her time between managing a boat washing business in Chicago's harbors, crewing for various private and charter boats, and even overseeing a charter company in the summer of 2021. Having completed her STCW course, Molly is poised to infuse her extensive boating knowledge and wanderlust into the yachting industry. Connecting with guests is Molly's passion, and she eagerly anticipates crafting an unforgettable experience for every individual who sets foot aboard Freedom.
